Description
The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development provides scholarships for Egyptian students with disabilities (motor, auditory or visual) for undergraduate study at the American University in Cairo.
This scholarship aims to integrate students with specific needs in university life and to provide distinguished educational opportunities that enable them to obtain a high-quality education and better opportunities for employment, as well as provide accommodation and subsistence expenses for expatriate students.
The scholarship offers a tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility
– Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders).
– A recent graduate from high school (thanawiya amma) or its equivalent with a minimum score of 85 percent.
– Submit certified medical proof of disability.
– Social and community engagement.
