Description
The Jordanian Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships, Master’s Degree, are offered every year to qualified Jordanian students for higher study and research in the United States. These scholarships are fully-funded by the Fulbright Commission in Jordan and are intended for two (2) years’ full-time study toward a master’s degree, in all fields of study except for clinical fields that require direct interaction with people or animals, such as medicine, veterinary science, and dentistry. Also, the Fulbright Commission cannot cover any master’s degree that requires a license as part of its program.

Eligibility
Applicants should:
– Be Jordanian citizens residing, working or studying in Jordan. Students currently studying in the U.S. or abroad are not eligible to apply.
– Hold a bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education, with transcripts that demonstrate consistent academic performance suitable for graduate-level study in the U.S.
– Have excellent command of English in order to carry-out high-level scholarly work.
– Be representative and responsible citizens who can contribute to mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Jordan.
– Demonstrate the cross-cultural sensitivity and flexibility needed to adjust successfully to life in the United States.
– Preference will be given to interested applicants who meet the above eligibility requirements in the fields of Fine Arts; Humanities; and Social Sciences.
For M.B.A. applicants only:
– M.B.A. applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional work experience after the last university degree.
– M.B.A. applicants should submit a GMAT score report instead of the GRE.
Who is ineligible to apply for this competition?
– Persons applying for or holding permanent residence (Green Card) in the United States are not eligible.
– Persons who are citizens of both Jordan and the United States are also not eligible.
