Description
The Jordanian Fulbright Student Scholarships, Master’s Degree, are offered every year to qualified Jordanian students for higher study and research in the United States. These scholarships are fully-funded by the Fulbright Commission in Jordan and are intended for two years’ full-time study, towards only a master’s degree, in all fields of study except for clinical fields that require direct interaction with humans or animals, such as medicine, veterinary science, and dentistry. Also, the Fulbright Commission cannot cover any master’s degree that requires a license as part of its program.

Eligibility
Applicants should meet the criteria:
– Be Jordanian citizens residing, working or studying in Jordan. Students currently studying in the U.S. or abroad are not eligible to apply.
– Hold a bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education, with transcripts that demonstrate consistent academic performance suitable for graduate-level study in the U.S.
– Potential applicants are expected to have a proven excellent command of English in order to carry-out high-level scholarly work.
– Applicants should be responsible citizens who can contribute to mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Jordan.
– Applicants should demonstrate the cross-cultural sensitivity and flexibility needed to adjust successfully to life in the United States.
– Preference will be given to interested applicants who meet the above eligibility requirements in the fields of fine arts; humanities; and social sciences.
