The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand offers generous academic scholarships to qualified applicants to its master’s and doctoral degree programmes. AIT Scholarships are available for students applying for postgraduate programmes offered at AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology; School of Environment, Resources and Development; and School of Management.
The AIT Scholarships are intended to increase the number of skilled international scientists, engineers, and managers needed to meet the future challenges of the emerging Asian Economic Community region and beyond.
AIT Scholarships cover full or a portion of tuition, registration fees (20,000 baht per semester), and living expenses (around 11,500 to 15,000 baht per month). Each school has a Selection Committee that will propose the value of AIT Scholarships grant for each applicant for approval by the school’s dean. This grant amount is decided only once before enrollment and cannot be changed over the study period.
Applications are currently being accepted for the June term intake of the School of Management.

All nationalities are eligible. In addition, applicants must:
– Meet AIT’s English Proficiency Requirement (i.e. IELTS-Academic or AIT EET score of 5.0 or above for master’s programmes, and 5.5 for doctoral programmes.
– Have a four‐year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, if applying for master’s degree study.
– Have a master’s degree from a recognized university, if applying for Ph.D. study.
– Have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 in their master’s degree and 2.75 in their undergraduate programme.
