Participants in a Beirut workshop developed recommendations to improve the access of youth inside Syria to quality higher education.
Almost 100 individuals and organizations dedicated to providing higher-education to Syrian refugees met to discuss ongoing challenges, the need for better coordination, and recommendations to donors, governments, and scholarship providers for improving educational access.
At a workshop co-sponsored by Al-Fanar Media, the British Council, and SPARK, with support from CARA, more than 100 participants gathered in Istanbul March 1 – 2, 2016.
